Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts 2010 Endorsements

As the national campaign for health care reform demonstrated, it is as important as ever that our elected officials stand up for access to comprehensive sexual health services and information.

The Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts is committed to supporting these officials, and that's why we're pleased to announce our 2010 endorsements. All of these candidates have been leaders for sexual health in Massachusetts.

Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts
2010 State Senator Endorsement for the Norfolk, Bristol and Middlesex District

We have the opportunity with a special election on May 11th to expand our majority of state senators who are supportive of sexual health matters. In order to continue making progress, we need to elect legislators who will fight for these important issues.

That’s why the Planned Parenthood Advocacy Fund of Massachusetts is proud to endorse Peter Smulowitz for State Senator in the Norfolk, Bristol and Middlesex District.

Peter Smulowitz has demonstrated that he understands the importance of providing access to sexual and reproductive health care, real sex education that protects our children, and a woman’s right to make private medical decisions without government interference.

We urge you to visit www.petersmulowitz.com or call 781-444-0881 to learn more about this campaign.

We have achieved significant victories in recent years, including the passage of the Buffer Zone and Emergency Contraception in the ER Laws, protection of family planning and teen pregnancy prevention programs, but there is still much more to be done.

Please support Peter Smulowitz with your vote on Tuesday, May 11th!
